Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born on Friday July 7th to Actor Russell Crowe and his wife Danielle Spencer. The newborn weighed in at about 8 pounds. The couple has an older son, Charlie Spencer Crowe, aged 2. Crowe’s manager, Grant Vandenberg, said “Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well."

On the Tonight Show Crow shared with Jay Leno how he told older brother Charlie about the birth. “He knows where the baby is in Mommy’s tummy and knows that he was a baby once and there’s another baby coming along. ‘Bubba, what do you want to call your brother?’ and his first option was Pumpkinhead. But then the next day, he revised it and he changed it to Stinky.”

The new dad attended fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman’s wedding last Sunday. Others in attendance included Hugh Jackson, Naomi Watts, and Fox News media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

Crowe won an Oscar for his role in the 2000 film “Gladiator”. He met his wife to be in 1989 when they costarred in the 1990 film “The Crossing”. Crow has been married to Spencer since 2003. They were married in a star-studded wedding in Crowe’s homeland Australia.

Back in May of last year Crowe told the television show, Entertainment Tonight, "I'm very involved in being a dad”. He added "My days, if they start in the morning with a cuddle from my son, are just so much more glorious than they were prior to that." Tennyson was born at 7:27 AM at the Royal North Shore hospital in Sydney, Australia.
