For those that want to customize their browser as their own Mozilla Firefox 3.6 has Personas which will skin graphics of your favorite pictures, activities, travel destinations, and more.

What is nice about Firefox is that you can customize your browser with open source plug-ins. They are simple to disable and uninstall if you decide not to use the plug-ins.

Haiti: Another Earthquake Hits Country Thursday

(Best Syndication News) Earthquakes continue to hit Haiti with a 4.8 tumbler striking the country at 11:54 am (8:54 PST) Thursday. The epicenter was 25 miles (40 km) west-southwest of Port-au-Prince at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km).

Residents of Hispaniola felt this new quake just nine days after the initial 7.0 earthquake hit. Many Haitians have taken up residence in tent cities out of fear of more quakes.

It is estimated that 1.5 million people are homeless. Habitat for Humanity is planning on building thousands of one room expandable homes. They are aiding in the cleanup and have plans to distribute shelter kits to help repair damaged homes.

More Flooding and Mudslide concerns Southern California Government Officials - Mountain Snow Conditions

[Best Syndication News] The rain keeps on falling across California with Southern California being flooded in urban city streets, and mudslide threats continue to get worse as the dirt becomes saturated with moisture in fire burned areas that don't have ground cover to keep the land in tact.

There has been evacuations ordered in areas that pose a threat for mudslides and flash flooding, and the Los Angeles county officials are frustrated that so many people in the La Cañada-Flintridge refuse to evacuate for dry ground as they remind those remaining that emergency crews will very likely be unable to reach them because of debris that will very likely block the roadways.

The Grapevine section of Interstate 5 is closed since around 10:30 this morning due to snowy weather conditions. There have been several road closures due to the California storms.

Space Shuttle Retiring at the end of the Year - Used asking $28.8 million obo

[Best Syndication News] You can't really buy the NASA space shuttle, but you can bid on the opportunity to display it at a museum. The US government is asking $28.8 million fee for letting the winning museum display it at their archive. This is a discount off their original asking price of $42 million, what a deal. There have been 21 different organizations putting in their bid of for the space shuttles, the deadline is set for February 19th.

Discovery space shuttle has been claimed by the the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. Two more shuttles are still available, Atlantis and Endeavor.

NASA is going to retiring the fleet of space shuttles after they have completed five more missions to work on the International Space Station. The shuttles should be available to the museums winning bidder by the end of this year.

California Storms – More Evacuations Ordered as Flooding and Mudslide Threats Loom

[Best Syndication News] The rain storms have been coming one after another starting this Sunday delivering measurable precipitation to the state. Wednesday's storm is causing concern for burn areas as mudslide threats continue as the moisture continues to be anticipated as having heavy rain fall and flash flooding.

There was 750 homes in the foothills around Los Angeles that were given orders to evacuate on Wednesday because of the the burned areas being highly susceptible to mudslides due to flash flooding.

Yesterday, reports of a tornado touching down in Orange county caused boats to be lifted 30 feet in the air out of the harbor waters. There was a SUV vehicle that was tipped on its side because of the strong winds. There was damage of a office building, with its roof being torn off.
