[Best Syndication News] Mardi Gras celebration for 2010 has begun, but now there is even more to celebrate with the victory parade for the local NFL team the New Orleans Saints winning the championship Superbowl 44 game this past Sunday. The Saints ousted the Indianapolis Colts 31-17.
The celebration parade for the Saints victory is going to start at the Superdome at 5 p.m. CST, on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010. The players and the players, coaches and other team officials will be riding on 10 floats that will be donated from the Mardi Gras Krewes along with 12 marching bands to celebrate their win.
[Best Syndication News] Cloudy skies caused the countdown to launch the NASA space shuttle Endeavor to be halted today. They are going to reschedule the launch for Monday, weather permitting of course. The time for the launch on Monday has been set for Feb. 8 at 4:14 a.m. EST. The mission management team will make the final decision this Sunday evening if they will begin fueling the shuttle at 6:45 p.m.
The mission is to deliver some more parts for the Space Station. They will be delivering a third connection module, an Italian made Tranquility node, and a seven window cupola that will be used for a control room for robotics. They also will be having three scheduled spacewalks on this mission.

It could be even more detrimental than a backache. You should consider your health when you are going out to dig out the driveway from the snow. Here are some tips by Dr. Susan Wainwright, vice chair of the Department of Physical Therapy at University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. She gave some tips to avoid getting hurt while shoveling snow.
Dr. Wainwright recommends the following to help prevent some of the aches and pains associated with shoveling snow. She suggests to warm up by jogging in place and stretching before diving into to shoveling snow. She said to invest in an ergonomically designed snow shovel so that you won't have to bend and they are typically lighter which makes it easier to lift.

(Best Syndication News) Is Bill Cosby Dead? There are no confirmed reports, but various Internet sites are spreading rumors the legendary entertainer has died. The 72-year old actor and stand-up comedian is well known for the “Cosby Show” and “Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids”.
The San Francisco Chronically is adamant that his death is a hoax, similar to the hoaxes reporting the death of Johnny Depp, Kayne West and others. The Times of London is a little less certain stating “No report has confirmed nor denied his death.” They also say that the “latest news” is that his wife Camille found him passed out and called 9-11. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Another rumor stated that he died in a car accident in Los Angeles.

(Best Syndication News) The worst snow storm in 80 years is bearing down on the east coast of the United States Friday night and Saturday (see graphics below). It is expected to drop 20 to 30 inches of “wet – heavy” snow in the nation’s capital. Expect the snow to continue into Saturday night.
Three major airports servicing the capital have been shutdown along with Amtrak service. Other airports are preparing for delays along the Atlantic coast.
Washington and Baltimore Forecast:
For Baltimore and Washington DC Saturday expect snow with a high near 30. North wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible. It will clear up late Saturday night and be clear Sunday and Monday, but cold.
