Hyundai Sonata broke Yearly Sales Record in 2012

(Best Syndication News) - Hyundai announced today that their mid-size Sonata car broke the all-time record for yearly sales. This week, the Hyundai sold 225,961 units. Hyundai also saw record setting sales for their Elantra, Veloster, Genesis, and Equus models this year.

John Krafcik, president and CEO Hyundai Motor America, explained that the Sonata was redesigned in early 2010. The revisions included improved fuel-efficiency, roominess, safety, and durability. Krafcik said that the Sonata December 2012 retail sales are in third place behind Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord.

Honda FourTrax ATV recall announced for Repair

American Honda’s FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicle recall announced -CPSC

(Best Syndication News) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of American Honda’s FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The recall was announced to repair a weld that could come apart on the ATV’s front right and left upper suspension arms. If the weld separates, the driver could lose control of the ATV and potentially crash.

American Honda knows of 10 reports of the ATVs’ suspension arm weld breaking. One report caused the rider to sprain their wrist.

Around 19,500 of the American Honda FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) are involved in the recall. This is an expanded recall, which includes ATVs that were previously recalled in February 2012. The recalled units were sold at Honda ATV dealers nationwide between September 2011 and November 2012. They retailed between $5,100 and $7,600.

Honda and Acura vehicle recall announced for Ignition Switch Repair

(Best Syndication News) - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the recall of around 807,161 Honda and Acura vehicles. The recalled vehicles could roll away if the driver does not put the automatic-transmission car in park when the key is removed from the ignition.

Certain 2003-2006 models of the Acura MDX, 2003-2004 model years of the Honda Odyssey, and 2003-2004 model years of the Honda Pilot are involved in this recall. The passenger vehicles were manufactured between November 26, 2001 and August 30, 2006.

Twitter support for Instagram Photos Vaporizes

(Best Syndication News) - Instagram fans were shocked to not be able to share their filtered photos on Twitter today. Facebook, who purchased Instagram this year, ended support for Twitter cards. This meant that Twitter users that used the Instagram photo-sharing app will now be inconvenienced.

Today, Twitter users are tweeting their shock; Instagram photos are no longer being displayed on the website. Twitter announced the status change on their website this afternoon. They wrote:

"Instagram has disabled photo integration with Twitter. As a result, photos are no longer appearing in Tweets or user photo galleries.

Chevrolet Volt Car Owners drove over 100 Million Miles on Electricity

(Best Syndication News) - All the Chevrolet Volt cars on the road have been driven over 100 million electric-powered miles, according to the General Motors Company (NYSE:GM). The cars can use both electricity and gas, but Volt owners use electricity to power their vehicles in over 65 percent of their trips. The on-board gas-powered generator is used for the longer road trips.

The Chevrolet Volt cars started becoming available on the market in December 2010. In this short time, General Motors estimates that around 5 million gallons of gas have been saved by using electricity to power these cars. Additionally, around $1,370 is saved in fuel expenditures per year for each Chevrolet Volt owner.
