SONY announces availability and pricing for new 84-inch 4K TV

(Best Syndication News) - Sony Electronics announced the pricing and availability for their new 84-inch 4K TV. The TV set will cost as much as a new car, and will sell for $24,999.99. It will become available for pre-order starting on September 6, 2012, and will be for sale at certain Sony stores and specialty electronic retailers nationwide in November 2012. Sony made the announcement today at CEDIA.

The resolution is the highest quality with 3840 x 2160 pixels. The TV set measures in at 84-inches diagonally. It also has a comprehensive speaker system built-in to it. There is Internet and 3D TV functionality. Of course, at that price, the TV set should have it all!

(Best Syndication News) - Today, SONY unveiled their newest XBR 4K TV set at their San Diego headquarters. The large 84-inch display (measured diagonally) is an LED panel television set that is capable of delivering four times the resolution compared to the HDTV sets currently on the market. The XBR-84X900 TV set will also be Internet capable and 3D.

The 4K resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels. The set can display that resolution so long as the source can send that resolution. The signal is sent through a single HDMI cable. With this TV set, consumers will be able to enjoy digital still photos from their cameras displayed at the 4K resolution on the large screen display. If the 4K resolution becomes the new standard, more devices and broadcasts with the higher resolution will become available.

AT&T spends almost $1.1 Billion to deliver Texas customers 4G Service and Faster Internet

(Best Syndication News) - During the first half of 2012, AT&T has spent almost $1.1 billion in wireless and wired network upgrades in Texas so they can better serve their customers. The improvements include 4G service, which is the fastest broadband wireless service for mobile devices. The improvements included new cell sites and towers to further expand coverage and to handle more data transfer.

AT&T launched their 4G LTE service in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi, Bryan-College Station, and Waco during the first part of 2012. There were 14 new cell sites and 124 sites that added more capacity in North Texas.

New Dunkin’ Donuts Mobile App has Payment and Virtual Gift Card Options

(Best Syndication News) - A new Dunkin’ Donuts mobile app has been released today and will work with the Apple iPhone, Apple iPod touch, and Android Smartphone devices. The new app will allow customers to pay for their coffee and bakery items using their mobile phone. The user of the app can also send electronic gift cards to other people so they can make purchases at Dunkin’ Donuts.

The mGift feature allows the user of the app to send virtual gift cards via text, email, or Facebook Connect. The virtual gift card denominations range between $2 and $100.

This payment method is available both inside Dunkin’ Donuts as well as through the drive-thru. Inside the app is a virtual Dunkin’ Donuts Card that can be presented at the time of purchase. The Dunkin’ Donuts employee would then scan the virtual card to complete the sale.
