[Best Syndication News] Mardi Gras celebration for 2010 has begun, but now there is even more to celebrate with the victory parade for the local NFL team the New Orleans Saints winning the championship Superbowl 44 game this past Sunday. The Saints ousted the Indianapolis Colts 31-17.
The celebration parade for the Saints victory is going to start at the Superdome at 5 p.m. CST, on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010. The players and the players, coaches and other team officials will be riding on 10 floats that will be donated from the Mardi Gras Krewes along with 12 marching bands to celebrate their win.

[Best Syndication News] Frontier Airlines announced their new additions of seven new flight destinations coming out of their Denver International Airport (DEN) hub. They will also be increasing their seasonal flights from Denver to Fort Myers to a year round schedule.
The new destinations are non-stop to Branson, Mo. (BKG); Grand Rapids, Mich. (GRR); Long Beach, Calif. (LGB); Madison, Wis. (MSN); Newport News-Williamsburg, Va. (PHF); Santa Barbara, Calif. (SBA); and seasonal nonstop service to Green Bay, Wis. (GRB).
“This is a very exciting day for Frontier Airlines as we continue to show our strong commitment to Denver,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s vice president of planning and strategy. “With the delivery of three new Airbus A320s and additional E190s this spring we are able to expand our service to new and under-served markets out of Denver, as well as increase frequencies in several of our popular markets. Customers in our seven new markets can now look forward to Frontier’s excellent customer service and affordable fares as they travel to Denver and beyond.”

[Best Syndication News] Since receiving large amounts of snow from the storms last week, people have flocked in droves to the local mountains to go skiing and sledding. Both Wrightwood and Big Bear have had record number of snow visitors arrive to the mountain to play in the snow.
This weekend was so packed full of people in Wrightwood that HWY 138 was lined with parked cars on both sides of the roadways stretching a mile from the HWY 2 junction. This influx of visitors caused extreme congestion in the evening when snow frolickers journeyed back down the mountain towards home.

Abby Sunderland who is only 16 years old set sail from Marina del Rey to voyage around the world solo. Sunderland is from Thousand Oaks and was sent off will well wishes from family and friends this past Saturday. She is the second of 7 kids.
Sunderland is aiming to become the youngest person to sail around the globe in a 40-foot sailboat. Sunderland has been sailing with the family since she was six months old. Sailing is in the family's blood, as her older brother Zac at the age of 17 sailed around the world in a 13 month journey. For a short time Zac was the youngest person in the world to sail around the Earth, but was ousted by Michael Perham from England beat his record just weeks later. Abby said in a press conference that she was inspired by what her brother had accomplished.
