[Best Syndication News] The 2010 Superbowl came and went, but one of the highlights ever time is the commercials that air on the big game. This year there was a different tone to the commercials. But some still were very funny. It think that there was some good marketing going on for the guys. And some cute ones for the whole family. Here are some of my favorites this year. I think we can all relate to some travel story from hell. This was funny because it just can be that ridiculous traveling at times.

[Best Syndication News] We are finally at the 44th Superbowl weekend with New Orleans Saints  vs. Indianapolis Colts  battling it out for the championship football game. The game will be played out at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

2010 Superbowl XLIV Time Start Schedule of Events

Superbowl time schedule is set for the game to start at Sunday, February 7, 2010 - 6:25pm ET on CBS. The pre-game will begin at 2:00 PM, Eastern Time. There will be a Superbowl kick off Show countdown starting at 6:00 p.m. ET and will lead up the the game kick off at 6:25 pm ET. Some say the game won't start until 6:30, but if you don't want to miss anything make sure to tune in at 6.

[Best Syndication News] On The Oprah Winfrey show today, it was all about type 2 diabetes and what we can do to prevent the disease and halt the damage that it creates. The first part of the show discussed how the disease works and the second part of the show had an intervention and a success story of a chef that had reversed his diabetes with diet and exercise. This is article discusses the second half of the show.

Dr. Ian Smith participated in the Diabetes intervention on Oprah's TV show today. He is well know for his creation of 'The 50 Million Pound Challenge' which was created to challenge the population's problem with obesity with the goal of weight loss. Smith is currently the medical/diet expert on VH1’s 'Celebrity Fit Club.' He is also the author of several books, including 'The Fat Smash Diet.'

(Best Syndication News) On Wednesday’s Dr. Oz Show, the doctor talked about weight loss and hiccups. Apparently hiccups are a survival mechanism. But what really causes them?

How Do We Hiccup:

One guest thought gas caused hiccups. Without telling her if she was right, Oz explained what causes hiccups. An animation helped explain it. When the diaphragm pops down, the lungs are “sucked” down. This is a traditional way for us to move air in and out of the lungs.

When we hiccup the diaphragm spasms, and when that happens it dramatically pulls the lungs down. This can cause a hiccup and the sound we hear.

Varicose Veins

(Best Syndication News) There is a difference between varicose and spider veins, according to Dr Mehmet C Oz. The doctor said this is one of the most common and treatable complaints heard from women.

“In fact, about half of you are living with it right now,” Oz said. “They are called spider veins.”

How They Form:

He called Marsha up to the stage to help with the demostration. There is a difference between spider and varicose. A graphic illustrated the point. Blood circulates through the veins in the leg. After a while they “engorge” and become bigger. The blood begins to rush back to the feet causing changes in the wall of the vein. As they get larger they become more “torturous”.
