(Best Syndication News) - Guillermo, from the Jimmy Kimmel Live TV show was in a Kellogg's Crunchy Nut breakfast cereal. The superhero has been part of a new marketing campaign to get the word out about their breakfast cereal brand.

The tie-in with Jimmy Kimmel Live may be the new way to market products, because many people record TV shows and skip through commercials. Therefore, product placements within the TV show concept will more than likely become commonplace in the years to come.

To further market the breakfast cereal, Kellogg's have hit the street and have been posting updates on their Facebook page to get the word out about their newest superhero character.

The Crunchy Nut superhero has been driving around the streets in a yellow delivery vehicle with a giant honey dipper on top. His mission is to get rid of boring breakfasts with a bowl of Kellogg's® Crunchy Nut™ cereal.

Kathie Lee Gifford appologized to Martin Short for Interview Blunder

(Best Syndication News) - Kathie Lee Gifford make a mistake interviewing Martin Short on NBC’s ‘Today’ by asking him how he and his wife have been married for so long. Unfortunately, Short’s wife, Nancy Dolman, had passed away two years earlier.

Gifford said during the interview on Wednesday, "He and Nancy have one of the greatest marriages of anybody in show business. How many years now for you guys?"

Shirley MacLaine to be presented with the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award

(Best Syndication News) - Shirley MacLaine will be receiving an American Film Institute's 40th Life Achievement Award during a private black-tie gala being held on June 7, 2012 at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. Presenting the award to Shirley MacLaine will be Meryl Streep.

Streep was also a recipient of the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2004. The two actresses worked together on the 1990’s film, “Postcards From The Edge.” Streep played the part of MacLaine’s daughter in the film.

TV Land gets new Logo and adds more nights of Original Sitcoms

(Best Syndication News) - Today, TV Land unveiled a new logo along with graphics to reflect their changing programming. The 16-year old network was previously known for airing old TV shows from long ago, but has changed direction when they hit a home run with the original TV series “Hot in Cleveland.” Additionally, the network is planning to add a second night of original sitcoms to their programming.

TV Land will continue to air old classic television series, and sitcoms from the recent past. They will expand on their new original series starting on June 20, 2012. The network will premier “The Soul Man,” season two of “The Exes,” and “Retired at 35.”

Glee TV Show cast achieves New Record with 200 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart

(Best Syndication News) - The Glee TV show cast have broken their own record as the only music act to place 200 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Glee cast first entered the Hot 100 list in 2009 with the Journey song “Don’t Stop Believin’.” The Glee performance of the song made its debut at #4. The 200 record entries record was helped by their performance of Gotye’s “Sombody That I Used To Know,” which sold 170,000 songs in only two weeks.

In 2010, the Glee cast beat the Beatles’ record of 71 entries on the Hot 100. Then in 2011, the Glee cast ousted Elvis Presley’s record of 108 entries in the list. Glee cast also surpassed James Brown’s record of 91 songs, Ray Charles’ record of 74 songs, and Aretha Franklin’s record of 73 songs.
