(Best Syndication News) - Celebrity performers, Nicki Minaj and Adam Levine, will both have their own apparel and accessories collections available exclusively at Kmart & online at ShopYourWay.com, according to an announcement made by Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:SHLD). The collections will span multi-departments and are expected to arrive at certain Kmart store locations and online starting in 2013.

Nicki Minaj is known for her over-the-top outfits with plenty of colors and patterns. The rap singer, who often sports a blonde or pink wig, will soon be a judge on the upcoming season of FOX’s “American Idol.”

Customers will be able stay on top of dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other special days. The new social feature will help the customer by sending them reminders. Additionally, the feature will let the shopper keep a list of gift ideas for everyone on their list.

Friends & Family Gifting will also let the customer share their gift lists by email, on Facebook, through Twitter, and on Pinterest. To help remember an upcoming special day, customers can opt into having emails sent to remind them.

Target announces exclusive deal with Sam & Libby Brand Footwear

(Best Syndication News) - Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) announced an exclusive partnership with Brown Shoe Company’s Sam & Libby brand footwear. The partnership will stock Target stores with designer shoes without the hefty price tags. The Sam & Libby brand shoes will start to show up at the brick-and-mortar stores and online on May 5, 2013.

Sam & Libby for Target stores will have 20 footwear styles for women starting at $24.99. There will be sandals, wedges, and pumps. Each season the shoe collection will change to reflect the changing trends.

Online Holiday Sales increase over Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday

(Best Syndication News) - While many Americans opted to go shopping at traditional brick-and-mortar stores last week, the number of people shopping online during Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday is increasing. U.S. retail e-commerce spending for the first 23 days of November totaled $13.7 billion, according to report by comScore (NASDAQ:SCOR). The National Retail Federation also found a trend in online shopping during this holiday weekend.

On Black Friday, online shoppers spent 1.042 billion, comScore found. This was a 26 percent increase in spending compared to Black Friday 2011. Online Thanksgiving Day sales increased 26 percent compared to the previous year's figures. Put side-by-side, online Thanksgiving Day sales totaled only $633 million, much smaller than Black Friday sales.

Sears and Kmart announce Thanksgiving Day Doorbuster Sales

(Best Syndication News) - Sears Holdings announced today that both Sears and Kmart retail stores would be open on Thanksgiving Day in most states. State laws in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maine, and Puerto Rico will not allow for Sears and Kmart to be open on Thanksgiving Day, but will open at 12:30 AM on Black Friday, and in Puerto Rico at Midnight.

Sears stores plan to open their doors at 8 PM (local time) on Thanksgiving Day and will remain open through Friday until 10 PM.

On Thanksgiving Day, Kmart stores will open at 6 AM (local time) until 4 pm and reopen again at 8 PM until 3 AM. Then on Black Friday, Kmart will open at 5 AM and close at 11 PM.
