to add Discovery Communications content to Prime Instant Video

(Best Syndication News) - along with Discovery Communications announced that they have reached a licensing agreement to allow for Amazon Prime members to watch previous season of TV series that aired on Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Science, and the Military Channel. Additionally, content from 25-years of shows will be available for the Prime Instant Video.

Amazon’s Prime Instant Video launched their service in 2011. It is an additional benefit for customers who sign up for Prime membership, which offers extra free and discounted shipping for orders.

Amazon said that they have gone from 12,000 titles up to 17,000 titles. There are over 120,000 more titles in the entire section of Amazon Instant Video service, which has individual rentals and digital copies available to purchase.
