[Best Syndication News] Ocean Mist Farms has issued a voluntary recall of 1,746 cases of Iceless Green Onions because of tests that showed iceless green onions that came for Circle Produce was contaminated by salmonella.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported that it may have been possible that consumers might have purchased the green onions and they should check to make sure that they don't have the contaminated lot.
Consumers need to look for the following green onion pack styles and code dates that are being recalled. They are as follows:

Currently Ocean Mist Farms has reported that no one has become ill from eating the potentially contaminated green onions. In addition the company has stopped accepting Circle Produce green onion shipments.
