The Honda Insight Hybrid car as
rated by the EPA, rates at up to 66 miles per gallon. Insight was
the first gas-electric hybrid offered in the US and has been in
production for over 6 years.
The Honda Insight Hybrid car has
options available. You can choose from four colors, Silverstone
Metallic, New Formula Red, Navy Blue Pearl, and Interior/Beige. You
can also decide if you want a 5 speed stick shift or an automatic
CVT transmission.
If you go with the stick shift
model you will get better gas mileage with 60 mpg city driving and
66 mpg highway. If you decide to go with the automatic transmission
it will be 57 mpg city and 56 mpg highway. To get optimal mileage
the stick shift is the way to go. The gas tank holds 10.6 gallons
and uses regular unleaded gas. The Toyota Prius has the gas mileage
as follows, 60 mpg for city and 51 mpg for highway driving.
It is a small car and it only
will fit 2 people altogether. You can be tall and still fit in it
with ease, just can’t bring the whole family along. The car is a
very quiet running vehicle. A great vehicle for commuting to
work.
The car has all the options
available including, automatic climate control, AM/FM/CD audio,
power windows and locks are just a few of the upgrades.
I think that the Honda Insight
is a good choice because of the long track record and the fact that
they have won on the fuel efficiency for the past 6 years in a row.
Not only is the vehicle efficient, but they have been able to make
any revisions to new models to keep it the best car. If you have a
large family, however, you will likely need a larger vehicle, which
there will be a selection of larger vehicles to choose from soon.
